Below is an example of a command and control network using C&F SmartVIEW™ digital controls. The optional joystick controller is local to the searchlight equipment and controls the various systems via an RS-485 BUS. The equipment can also be controlled via a remote command and control TPC/IP computer connection, using industry standard protocols such as ONVIF, PELCO-D, and NMEA 0183.
The Carlisle & Finch proprietary protocol is also offered if a more custom application is required. By requesting an ICD (interface control document) from the factory, this can be implemented quickly and easily.
Carlisle & Finch products are also compatible with the Coastal Monitoring System software offered by TimeZero Corporation. This software allows Carlisle & Finch searchlight products and IR illuminators to perform automatic tracking and interact synergistically with radar, thermal cameras, and lowlight cameras.
A microprocessor-based digital control system provides remote computer-control and integration with other systems, using common protocols and electrical interfaces such as ONVIF, Pelco-D, NMEA0183, TCP/IP, C&F Protocol, etc, and offered on all searchlights.
